Saturday Cuteness

I didn't end up going out last night. My roommate, TJ, had to work at 7am today so we decided to go out tonight instead. Well, I decided we're going out tonight. He doesn't know that yet! So, seeing I was not hungover I got up early and went to the farmer's market. Now, the pictures I shared on Wednesday were from the shrunken down version of the market they have mid-week. The bigger, and more fun, one is on Saturday mornings.

This Portland State student was making a few bucks with his violin. He had two fans who were mesmerized by his playing.

I wanted to buy some baking apples, and luckily I found a stand with a very cute guy behind the counter. He is a student from Australia - I didn't catch his name as he was very shy and turned beet red when I asked if I could take his picture.

I decided to call him Brad. He looks like a Brad. Although shy, he did play along and act like he was working really hard when he weighed my apples. Thanks Brad!

TJ and I are having a friend over for dinner tomorrow night. I love to cook for friends, it's one of my favorite things to do. So, I decided I'm going to try a recipe I've wanted to try for awhile. I've seen Martha Stewart make baked stuffed pumpkins, so if she can do it, I can do it. If it turns out, I'll share the recipe with you all. I'll also be using Brad's apples to bake an apple crisp.

It's a beautiful day here, so I'm going back outside to enjoy it! Have a great Saturday!
