Welcome World

Happy Tuesday! I wanted to take a moment and say, "Welcome World." I'm very excited to see that people from all over the world are visiting my blog. Readers are checking in from places like Germany, Australia, India, Belgium, Spain, as well as many here in the United States. Thanks to everyone for stopping by. I'd love to hear from you so please feel free to share your comments or email me.
Yesterday was pretty low-key. TJ and I took a trip to the Lloyd Center shopping mall in NE Portland just to get out of the house for awhile. We picked up a delicious Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks and wandered about people-watching. I ran into Jeffrey, a friend that I met through my ex-boyfriend. The three of us went to Las Vegas together a couple of years ago. We had such a fun time while we were there. My favorite thing I saw was the fountain show outside of the Bellagio:
While at the Lloyd Center we stopped for awhile to watch the kids take their skating lessons:

Of course, Portland is home to the infamous Tonya Harding. Unfortunately I was not around when the knee-whacking went down, but Tonya ran into trouble while I was working out here. She's one tough bird from what I hear. But, in a way I feel sad for her. I can't imagine having such a great talent and then squandering it. She was the first American woman to land a triple axel. I was at the Rose Garden here in Portland to see Kimmie Meissner land her triple axel during the national championships in 2005. That was also the year Michelle Kwan won her umpteenth national championship. The day of the women's long program we had a terrible ice storm here and I barely made it to the arena. All right, enough about skating. How about some hot men instead of ice queens.
