Light it Up

TJ and I made it down to Pioneer Courthouse Square to watch the lighting of the Holiday Tree, or Christmas Tree or whatever it's being called this year. Before the lighting, they put on a little show. Actually it was a lot of babble from the sponsors, etc. Then, it was time for the big moment:

We were right under the tree when they flipped the switch, it was very pretty. So was this cute boy who was watching next to me:

They had a little surprise, after the tree was lit, two members of the Barenaked Ladies came out to sing. The band is in Portland to play the Rose Garden. They had a couple of cute holiday songs.

TJ grabbed this freaky little dude who was pimping Cricket wifi. I think they called them the Cricketeers. Or they were the Freaky Freakersons. Not Sure.

Here's a view as we bolted from the square. There were too many heteros mauling and kissing and lickin' on each other so we had to head to the boy bars to have a few cocktails and erase the breeding from our fragile little minds. We ran into our cute little Patrick, but it was pretty dead. I was hoping for some shopping stragglers or out-of-towners who couldn't handle their families any longer, but no such luck. It was just our sweet and sassy Patrick.

So, home we came to watch bad Friday night tv. Hope you all have a fun weekend!
