Movie Monday
Another rainy day sent TJ and I scurrying to the movie theater. We've been hearing so much about Borat we had to go see it. Talk about an equal opportunity offender. He nailed just about everyone. Jews, Gays, Blacks, Bible Bangers, Frat Boys, Rednecks. It was all pretty darn funny, and at times quite shocking. I'm kind of surprised the movie has been profiled on the national nightly news. Seems like the kind of thing they'd want to steer clear of. I think it was definitely worth the price of a ticket. After Borat, we went and saw the animated feature, Flushed Away. It was kind of cute, but not nearly as good as Over the Hedge, which we saw during the summer. The slugs were very funny. Hugh Jackman was charming as the lead voice of Roddy, the rat. We like to go out to a theater in Beaverton if we're going to see a couple of movies. It's a nice, big comfy theater. And, not many people on weekdays. When we got home, we took a quick walk in the rain and wind down to Pioneer Courthouse Square to see the Christmas tree. They just hauled it down there today and are in the process of putting it up.
I tried to get a good shot in the wind and rain, but I kept moving too much so it's a little blurry. You get the point, though. Well, time to settle in for the night. Save the Cheerleader. Save the World. Heroes will be on the agenda for this evening. It's kind of growing on me. Hope you all had a good day!
