Rain Rain Go Away

After about 5 inches of rain in 2 days, we're finally getting a break. I walked down to the river to see how it looked, and when I was about half way there it quit. It's supposed to change now into just showers, but the sky is still very gray and cloudy.

A couple of blocks from my condo, I spotted this victim of the storm. Umbrella road kill. The wind was so strong it just sucked the poor umbrellas inside out and spat them to the ground.

There are still some leaves left on the trees, but many are lining the ground. People were out taking advantage of the break in the downpour to get a little exercise, including this hottie jogger.

Time to hunker down and watch the election returns come in. Have a great night!
