Robbed!!!

First we all had to suffer through two presidential elections where GW came out on top, now Mario is robbed on Dancing with the Stars. Ugghhh... I knew I should have just watched Top Model instead. For some reason, I knew it would happen this way. I think Mario was just *too* good all the way through the competition. Whatever America, I say Mario all the way!!!

On a more personal note, I had some good news on the job front. In case you haven't read my archives, I am currently unemployed and looking for a job. In October, I had an interview in Minneapolis that I thought went really well. But, the corporation I interviewed with enacted a hiring freeze. Well, the main guy I've been talking with there called to say the hiring freeze may be over soon and they wanted to check in and see if I'm still available. I don't know why, but I just feel like this is going to work out. You know how sometimes you just feel like something is meant to be. Almost all of my family and friends are in the Midwest and I really miss everyone. So, keep your fingers and toes crossed for me. My Mom especially would love to have me back closer to home. She was so excited when I called and told her I heard from Minneapolis today. The only downside would be going back to winter. I haven't missed the snow and cold at all, although we did have another wind and rain storm tonight. But, a great workplace in a city I love closer to my family and friends is more than worth putting up with winter. Hope you all had a great day!
