Surprise
Well, I received a very nice Valentine's surprise yesterday - my ex sent me flowers at work. They were several of these:
Just the red kind, in a lovely cube-shaped container with lots of greenery and twigs. Very Pacific Northwest and very different from the traditional roses most people were getting. So, it was definitely a highlight of the day! After work, I went to the Saloon for a while. Ended up running into this guy I've sort of made friends with, so we had fun chatting, and they played American Idol so I stayed to watch that. All in all, not a bad day. Now, just two more work days and the weekend is here, and the best part is I finally get my first paycheck tomorrow, so I'll be able to really kick it up this weekend! Hope you all had a Happy V day!

Your week sounds great....complete with flowers. Excellent. I bought my hubby and me a huge bouquet for the table along with a balloon and made a delicious dinner. Take care.
Aw, that sounds nice! I do have to say, you can find some really beautiful flowers in Portland! I loved getting boquets from the Farmer's Market at PSU.
